To re-brand a restaurant (Myst Asian Fusion Restaurant) and create a promotional campaign for a new name called Home Taste, combining traditional and modern design elements to evoke a sense of nostalgia and sophistication.

Identity & Concept
The objective was to develop a cohesive branding strategy for Home Taste, a Taiwanese restaurant, by merging traditional and modern design styles. This involved creating a new logo, defining a colour scheme, and designing promotional materials that reflect the unique atmosphere of the restaurant.
The main focus is on the sense of hometown. The name "香厝" in Taiwanese means getting along with others. The whole word in Mandarin means a house filled with the fragrance of rice, which evokes thoughts of coming home. The smell (香) serves as a memory transmission link from the house (厝). The round-shaped logo design is associated with a Taiwanese vintage begonia flower glass window. The begonia pattern exhibits a unique vintage style that is consistently used in all designs.

In order to define the style of the Taiwanese restaurant, the colour scheme is chosen in nostalgic vintage dark blue to show the bright light gold logo texts. The goal is to make people feel refined and nostalgic at the same time.
